Sharing Bookmarks, photos, etc

The new breed of Web site includes blogging services such as TypePad, the photo site Flickr, the shared bookmark site del.icio.us and many others. They are sometimes known collectively as Web 2.0--hosted online, relying heavily on users' submissions, and frequently updated and tweaked by their owners.

When discussing view, we are much tield to the DOM.
When discussing contorller, we are xonstrained by the browser event models.

GFRIENDS!

I have a briliant idea of building a new application, google style.

The basic idea is GFRIENDS! Which means you can add your friend's address, which will show up in Google Earth.

A host of applications can be built based on this idea. The friends will modify their own address and keep connected always.

Each of the friends can built their own network, can chose to show up in other friend's list. You might be suprise that you are having some common friends.

Each person can also update their profile, include profession, skills, preferences. You might be able to find all you need when you start your own company from your friend list.

Maybe I should use this BLOG as a note plus bookmark service. I have lost so many good links I want to visit again.

ajax

It seems AJAX is a hot topic, it is good for user experience. How about the use of this in the Enterprise?

It can be used to reduce the network trafic at least. For example, for the ANAS project which I worked on Citibank. The zip code and province should be stored in the server side and it will auto-populate based on the zip code entry.

We were searching solutions for this, but I don't know AJAX yet then.

directions?

I have been thinking of my next steps for my career path. What do I have which the others don't?

I think I can name a few:
Project management, (PMP)
Payment Solutions,
Credit Card Knowledge,
Java/J2EE
Analytical Skills (doing research)
Experience (compared with other Chinese).

Which is the way to go?
BE THERE, join as much activities as possible.
LIVE THERE, meet as much people as possilbe.
KNOW THERE, visit as much locations as possible.
